I headed there yesterday with a deep cut on my left from a gardening accident, and informed them I thought I needed stitches. I was alone in the lobby for the first hour and a half before being called to the back. Then I was alone in an exam room for another 2 hours while I heard and smelled food and a party atmosphere in some adjacent area. Visited in midday during the week May 2024 and left without treatment or exam, following a less-than-30-second interaction w/ Dr. Edward Daugherty. He literally just popped in the room to tell me to “sit tight” after waiting 2+ hrs (no other patients there that I saw). Since I don’t have insurance, I was prohibited from leaving until I paid a $509 ‘facility fee’. Went here after being bit by a dog. I had a inch long and half a inch deep cut in my hand but was concerned about if I needed stitches and what to do about some trendals of fat that dangled from my hand. After being admitted they informed me that all I would need to do is wash it with a antibiotic soap, cover, and compress it. When I inquired about what to do about some of the insides of my hand that was dangling out they told me they would send in a nurse to deal with it.
