The surgery I recently had at Brookwood M. Ctr was great. The surgeon Dr. Haikes, did a fantastic job. But I had to spend one night in the hospital before being released to go home to Mississippi. The nurse, Laura, is in the wrong profession. Her lack of care caused me to have a Pulmonary Embolism, because she failed to follow through with a pump for the medical leggins she placed on my calves. She never came back with a pump. Parking was terrible and the parking elevator did not work, leaving sick people to use the stairs. Registration took long time and waited a long time after that. Just did not thin the place looked clean. Procedure produced problems. Huge problems after the procedure in that the hospital messed up handling billing for other providers, pathology, lab, radiology, etc. Still working on this mess months later. You would think that a hospital would know billing, but this one doesn't. NEVER TO GO THERE AGAIN!

My husband has had several surgeries in years past at this hospital and we were both very pleased. Not this time!! Very very poor treatment from hospital staff. No complaints with surgeon but have list against the hospital.
