My mother has been there for a little over two years. It has been a wonderful experience! I live out of state and every time I visit, everyone there is so wonderful. My mother loves living there!
My parents made the decision to downsize and move to Brookdale a couple of months ago. So far, everything is working out great. My dad is more active now and my mom is really enjoying NOT cooking!! I have eaten with them a couple of times and I enjoyed the food. I have more peace of mind that they can enjoy life and not stress over everyday things. I am very pleased and they are too
The friendliness of the residents and the staff. Good food, many activities, apartment living, Brightness of the lobby and the sitting area in the second floor.
This place is horrible. The food is not good and not nutritious either. They promised my mother many things and didn’t do any of them. The fire alarms go off in the middle of the night with no warning, and they have no real plan of evacuation if there really were a need. They can’t keep an activities director or any other staff. It’s just another place that has been taken over by a corporation, and the bottom line is all they care about, not caring for the elderly. The excellent staff, the friendly residents, the fine and fun activities, the excellent care, the lovely building, the carefree life, the great food, the secure building— Brookdale Franklin is the best place in the entire area.
