10/10 would NOT recommend. If you want somewhere where they actually value you & your hard earned money, DO NOT MOVE HERE. These apartments have more problems than a little bit. I and 3 of my neighbors slept everyday and night in a DANGEROUS fire hazard for 6 months. For Thanksgiving - a lot of our personal items that were plugged into outlets GOT BURNED. I have lived in Brookhighland Place for over a year now, since I have been here i have had numerous issues with the management in getting things fixed. Since I have moved in I have had issues with my air conditioning unit not cooling. They said that it was fixed and got some things done but it is not fixed. I have placed tickets in and they come back to say that they are fixed but no one has fixed it. In my apt the temperatures have reached between 80-90 degrees in my apt. Completely livid at this point. I’ve been a resident for a little over a year and am experiencing my THIRD flooding. As I type, I have been calling “emergency maintenance” for over 3 hours due to my bathroom leaking and flooding AGAIN. I have emailed and reached out to Victoria (property manager), her boss (Susan), and no one has responded or called back. This is unacceptable for a place that considers themselves “luxury living”. By far the WORST example of luxury living. Maintenance close out work orders before the issue have been resolved and having to call, email and even stop by to talk to the Property Manager about the issues only to be given MULTIPLE excuses on why the issue hasn’t been resolved. Bushes over grown and breezeways TRASHED from garbage being left out and animals getting into it. If you are looking for somewhere to stay this is NOT the place.
Please don’t ever rent with these apartments! The staff is horrible and the property is disgusting. Can’t wait for my lease to end!
We were told that not having a door handle was not considered an emergency. We have 2 kids and not having a secured door is not an option. We had to stay at a hotel last night. I would like reimbursement for that room. But it's doubtful that I will see that because safety of their residents clearly is not a top priority.

ABSOLUTE worst place to live!! I wish I could give it 0 stars!! Move here if you want roaches, MOLD, rodents, and WATER LEAKS! I have been here for 2 years, and all they have ever done to fix the problem is move is to a new us to a new unit. Everything is a bandaid situation. they never actually fix the PROBLEM! The do nothing if your stuff is ruined or damaged. Not to mention, The police have been out here 2 times in the same months from gunshots, and someone last month was killed here too!!! This apartment complex is inhumanely removing ducks in NETS and it is awful to watch!!! There is no excuse for what they are doing. None!!
