Liars and Thieves Richard is nothing more than a con artist. Check his arrest record, assault I believe in Bastrop. Check his past businesses, shady at best. His wife is not much better supports his lies. Leaf was hired by me to do some work on my pool. All he did was take my money. Made all kinds of excuses and never accepted any responsibility. FACT: WE WON A JUDGEMENT AGAINST BROADWAY POOLS IN SMALL CLAIMS COURT!!!! The judge was so appalled he awarded all of our money back. Of course, Broadway pools refuses to pay, stating they do not have the assets or the means to settle. Yet, they continue to conduct business. They take shortcuts and do not perform the necessary repairs even when requested. We had the same terrible experiences with this company that everyone else is talking about. Do not hire this company to build a pool. The work Richard and Cynthia Leaf's company ( Broadway pools) did for us was horrible. Richard Leaf hires very cheap, unskilled labor. We saw one of them cutting the meat at Rudy's BBQ. Richard and the gang have been very very nice to work with. They built a rock-solid pool for me and I'm VERY happy with the quality and construction. They have been quick to respond to any question I've had too. The pool is exactly what I had in mind and Broadway Pools met the expectations and more. Overall a pleasant experience. This pool is super great!

Run, do not walk away from this "company". Many bad reviews about the company and owner mirrors my issues to the letter including non-responsiveness, sloppy work (if work is done at all), does not keep to timelines, promises or contractual agreement let alone any attention to warranty. My incomplete,paid-in-full contract is close to two-years old where code inspections are not complete. 1 starBroadway Pools has flat out refused to complete our pool which first payment made to Richard (The Owner) was in the end of December 2015. His last text / email chains to us was that he lost money on our job and has refused to meet or communicate with us a resolution. Beware. Shoddy job that took 11 months to complete. I have the e-mails and texts to support all the lies and broken promises that were made by Cindy and Richard. Worst company I have ever dealt with. All I did was hire the wrong people, I was the customer and did nothing wrong. However they blamed me every time they lied and broke a promise or missed a deadline. Richard threatened and was very malicious. Beware do your research!

I am so happy with my pool that Broadway Pools built for me, it turned out so much better than I even thought it would. I cannot wait for this summer for my grandkids and great grandkids to come and visit. I don't even want to come inside anymore, I love sitting out by my pool!!!!!

I recently contacted Broadway Pools to have my in-ground swimming pool liner replaced. The service was performed exceptionally. We were blown away by the fit and quality of the product installed. As a retired military veteran, I pay close attention to detail. I highly recommend Broadway Pools. Thank you for a job well done!
