My husband ordered a steak medium well and had to deal with it 3 times, the 3rd spoke with management which was very rude in front of myself and our 4 year old who was still trying to be friendly, talking and got nothing but a cold shoulder walked away from. Our son's burger was also red he was complaining of a stomach ache before we left, they took his burger brought back barely any meat yet again was so hard an black I was not happy my husband and our child had to go through all of this! Went here on prom night. Ordered the chicken Alfredo and when I got it the chicken was cold, dry, and under seasoned. The Alfredo sauce was very runny and bland. Our server was great(only reason I gave it 2 stars). Wish I could say the same for the food.
I strongly do NOT recommend. Unless you enjoy warm beer and awful food. I was sick all day after eating there for dinner! My husband was as well. Very disappointed. Appreciative of the food being taken off our bill at least. Will not be returning anytime soon.
We had the lunch special. Battered cod. A little greasy. So I took off the crusty outside. Fish was flaky and good. Sandwich was huge. Came with fries. 7.95. Waitress was friendly. Food came out in a reasonable amount of time. We’ll go back. Something a little different in a great old building.
I was so excited to go to one of the historical places to have dinner. However I wasn’t prepared to be yelled at by the manager because my steak was so cold the butter wasn’t even melted or on the second time it came out it was still blue inside. Never have I been yelled at while eating at a restaurant! The waiter was perfectly nice but the so called Manager....unbelievable! I will never go back nor will I ever recommend!
Out waitress was attentive and friendly. The place itself is very cool; full of history and artifacts. The burgers were good, nothing special but large and tasty. The Scotch egg was delicious as were the fried cheese and pickle kabobs.
Food and service was awesome! I ordered the baby back ribs and you slide the bones right out they were so tender!
