Been here for over 2 years and we loved it. Yes the gate sometimes malfunctions, but what apartment complex with a gate works perfectly all the time? Safety hasn't been an issue. I would recommend it to anyone and everyone. Someone said its not safe. Technically, nowhere is safe. This apartment does a really good job keeping it secure with the gate and a key fob for every door. And besides, an "intruder" would definitely get lost or take a while to get out. Live here.
