The neighbors are friendly, creating a strong community. Important points include that heat is on from mid Oct to sometime in May, with no air conditioning during this time, even in warm weather. Laundry machines standard and not always reliable, recent dryer/lint issue resulting in smoke. The building is rent-controlled, with a typical increase of $100 per month, per year, average studio $2200 and up.

Have been living here for over a year - the building has serious issues with mice and have not been able to resolve issues - would not recommend living here unless you want to spend a lot of time cleaning up mouse droppings

I lived in Bristol House for a little over a year and my experience at this property was unmatched. The management and staff at the property was extraordinarily fantastic. The building was always well maintained and the residents are extremely kind as well. I had no noise issues, maintenance always arrived quickly, and always felt safe in the apartment. The location is amazing - right next to the metro, walking distance from the White House, Adams Morgan, and Georgetown. Everyone who works at the front desk is beyond helpful... read more
