I went to the emergency department on Tuesday night having severe abdominal pains. They are so nice here. Although the wait in waiting room for 6 1/2 hours was unbearable, I was finally brought in a room. My care from there was amazing. I had an emergency appendectomy. Everyone I came in contact with were so nice and helpful, which is great because you cannot have anyone with you. They were fast to get cat scan and ultrasound done in such a timely manner. They explain everything and always have students with them learning. I... read more

We have both now. Also, Administrative assistant are not calling patients to ask if this is okay time for your virtual visit. You will see it pop-up in your partners schedule. This has happened at BWH and MGH. I feel there has been some de-humanizing of patients because these people just don’t care and are plugging people into ti... read more

Where do I begin? My journey started in the ED. Initially impressed with staff, particularly the nurse, technicians, and some drs. I had an anesthesiologist who was arrogant and incompetent. Once it was determined I needed to be omitted, it took 6 hours to get into a room. (Room available, no transportation people to help). My assigned surgeon did not provide good care. Following surgery, I would see him at 6:00AM for 2-3 minutes, but he would not address my medical concerns. His resident covering the night shift listened an... read more
