When I visit the dental office of Dr Shaw in University Place, I am always pleased. The office space is always clean and inviting. There is a fascinating pond with Koi and turtles in an outside atrium, visible from the waiting and hygienist areas. Everyone is always polite, helpful and capable. I have never had any worries with my teeth cleanings or when repair was necessary.

As always, my experience with the staff was great! My hygienist Keri Ann is amazing! Great place to go even if it is the dentist!
Each visit is on time and caters to my specific needs as a patient. The staff is friendly. Grateful to have found a dental office with such great service!
Can't say I've ever looked forward to going to the Dentist... Definitely Not my most favorite thing to do but Having said that -- I definitely didn't have any issues with going to see Dr.Shaw! The staff is so nice and professional ! I've only been there twice but They already know who I am and by name. They make me feel so at ease and I'm so relaxed because they are ! From being greeted nicely at reception to selecting a movie to watch during the procedure through to the end I was impressed. I am someone who gets nervous about dental work and I hadn't had any work done by Dr. Shaw before. He and the assistant talked me through it, let me take lots of breaks to close my mouth and even had me laughing a few times...
