Today I had the most impersonal, unsympathetic experience I've ever had in a dentist's office. I've had a toothache for 2 months leading to severe pain. For a walk-in emergency here at Bridge you pay $105 upfront, then wait to be seen (this was my 2nd visit in a year). I was brought back to the room, then asked AGAIN if I had paid the upfront fee (3rd time; apparently that's MORE important than actually treating patients.) I have had all of my fillings done here and the last one that I had done was the worst experience. My face was bruised for two weeks and I have permanent sensitivity/damage to my nerve from the dentist drilling too deep. I have been waiting since November to see the oral surgeon to have my wisdom teeth removed. They called me less than two weeks before the available appointment date. I have a job so I need to have at least two weeks notice to put in a time off request. Now I have to wait another two months to be seen!
