It was a routine colonoscopy. But all I could say after was ‘What a fantastic experience.’ Dr. Tiongco allowed me to stay alert throughout, no anesthesia. It was ‘uncomfortable’, and it was amazing. The ultimate internal adventure, a genuine ‘incredible journey’. Dr. Tiongco had a job to do, but interrupted now and then with navigational guidance, ‘That’s the opening of your appendix….
