I went to Dr Covino's because of knee issues. I filled out all new paperwork. His asst. gave me a cortisone shot. After the shot, I asked if this would affect my blood sugar. He wasn't even aware I was diabetic because he simply did not look at my paperwork I just filled out! I ended up in the emergency rm. with a blood- sugar of almost 600 - well past stroke/death range! I asked him to write a letter stating what I was told by his office re my back affecting my knees. He refused- changed Dr.!
very professional and explained procedure completely. left decision up to me.
