Dr. Barash is the best. I will be forever grateful for his treatment solutions regarding my depression and anxiety.
Dr. Barash is a money driven man. If you are ever blessed to be in his presence just remember you will not be done with your treatment until you insurance stops paying. They will find new problems to diagnose you with just to hold you for more days. The more days they hold you the more money they can get out of you and your insurance company. You will be forced to take pills or he will court appoint them. The pills he gives you are based off of a diagnosis generated by 600 question test that you take on the computer. I would... read more
Highly trust his advice on medication and treatment options. He is busy bc hrs one of the few psychiatrists in KC I trust. Thank you Dr B!
Horrid personality and he is dealing with children with issues and is completely arrogant and short with parents and the child. Look elsewhere.
Story already told
Dr. Barash is rude, rushed and overworked. We have met with him a few times for our daughter and his bedside manor is horrible. He doesn't take time to actually establish a rapport with his clients and even said at one point to my autistic daughter dealing with depression/anxiety that he didn't have time for her to decide to answer. He did nothing to develop trust or establish any form of connection.
Felt like he actually cared. Gave me hope.
The most brilliant man, not just Psychiatrist, I have ever spoken to in my life.
My son is schizophrenic and not med-compliant. Dr. Barash skillfully persuaded him to go with monthly injections. His practice is set up for patient convenience and the staff is efficient and kind. This is the Satan of mental illnesses, but Dr. Barash manages to give a sense of hope, and that is deeply appreciated.
