Dr. Barash saved my life. I am beyond grateful for him as is my family. I hope he never retires.
I’m the daughter of a patient who is assisting my parent in medical appts to help keep track of information for them. When I brought up concerns during the appt he was dismissive, rude and condescending. I truly do NOT believe he has my parent’s best interest in mind (which is a big problem being the sole provider for mental health medications). Doctor Barash was very patient with me and my family. I was on a handful of meds and over time and with his insistence that I stay sober, I am down to one medication and it is working great. I asked the doc why he has good and bad reviews. He calmly said that in general, happy psych patients don't like to put their name out there. He said unhappy patients who get admitted involuntarily to the hospital because they are unsafe are rarely happy with their care, nor are patients seeking medications that they don't get. This man will not listen to you. He will talk over you and dismiss your feelings. If you are having an intense moment, he will belittle you. Do not trust him with your child’s mental health.
I saw Dr. Barash for mental health needs. On the other hand, I did not ultimately end up feeling treated completely as far as my symptoms went.
He was very condescending, impatient, insensitive, to me and my child. I do not recommend.
This was the worst Dr. I've ever come in contact with, very condescending, very abrupt, one sided convos with no adherence too what you're saying. Treated me and my son like dirt. Will never ever go back and will be filing multiple complaints
Brian barash severely impacted my life through his knowledge and expertise. He pursued measured to take away my freedom from a place of anger, rather than concern. PLEASE find a Dr who will listen to you and provide collaborative care. Brian barash and his colleagues at signature health do not do that.
