Dr. Ogawa has excellent bedside manner. He is patient, kind and takes time to thoroughly explain things. He had a depth of knowledge of my rare condition that I appreciated. I’m very grateful that he has been my surgeon.
I broke my foot 4 months ago, which required surgery. Initially, I wasn't comfortable with the surgeon Kaiser assigned to me. Therefore, I began my search for an alternative surgeon in a different location. That's when I found Dr. Ogawa, who specializes in complex surgeries. Dr. Ogawa is hands down the best orthopedic surgeon in all of SoCal Kaiser! He takes the time to listen to your needs, advocates when determined necessary to expedite, and just all around a great doctor and human! He performed ATFL surgery on my right ankle to repair my torn ligaments as well as a recent stress fracture. Dr. Ogawa is a fabulous foot and ankle Orthopedist. My daughter in law had a very horrific foot injury. She should have lost her foot but due to the great care of he and Plastic surgeon Dr Chen most of her foot was saved. She has returned to work and is walking. A few months later my youngest fell while working at Philmont Scout ranch. He broke an ankle. Dr Ogawa once again came came to the rescue. He is also now healed. Thanks so much for the great care.
