I was referred to Dr Mellis by Urgent Care. It took several days to get an appointment. When I went in he gave me a prescription for Celebrex but I wanted to know what was wrong with my knee. I finally got him to agree to an MRI on my knee. His office never once followed up.on my results. I had to find a different orthopedic doctor. He got my test results the next day and scheduled me for the following day. I had a torn meniscus. I had both my knees replaced this past year. Dr. Mellis did an amazing job and I had a quick recovery. I HIGHLY recommend him. He answered any questions I had at any point in the day, even when he was busy. Much love to him and his family. His daughters are also gorgeous girls!
1 xray and 30 minutes in the office ended with 3 different bills totalling 700$ because it was billed to my insurance as a hospital visit at marion general hospital. Shady billing done here. Unless you're on welfare, I wouldn't go to this office.
