Delicious cakes & pastries I am craving a piece of my wedding cake, which was from Bredenbecks. They do a variety of baked goods from cupcakes & brownies to elaborate wedding cakes. Our red velvet cake was delicious & beautiful and the frosting perfectly matched the swatch I'd given them. One thing I was a bit saddened by is that the platform on which the cake rested and the platform for the top tier did not look "finished" - they were rough around the edges & looked like they needed to be covered up. Yummy Ice Cream Want a cool treat on a hot summer day or any kind of day for that matter? If you do, then go to Bredenbeck's Bakery & Ice Cream Parlor. They have many cool treats to choose from and they are all so so good! I love their creamy milkshakes. If you are an ice cream lover, this is a must stop! The prices are great too!
Go for the Ice Cream Forget the pastries - go for the ice cream! They sometimes have homemade ice cream that's unlike any commercial brand - I was enamored of the Tiramasu ice cream. But even their commercial brand stuff is good, and served in generous portions. There are a few benches in front of the store where you can sit on a warm day or evening, enjoying your cone. Oh yeah - they do have a variety of cakes, cookies, and other baked goods that look delicious.
