Great Vets, Great Boarding We have had nothing but good experiences with using Brawley Animal hospital both as vets and for boarding. They have always taken excellent care of our animals.
Brawley Animal Hospital/ Dr. Kurt Marks My husband and I have been taking our pets to Brawley Animal Hospital/ Dr. Kurt Marks for care and boarding. We are extremely happy with them and think they are wonderful! They know our pets by name and treat them as if they are part of their family! The pricing is competitive, the hospital is very clean, the assistants are super and I recommend them to all of my friends! A+
Compassionate Vet My husband and I moved to Mooresville in March. Our two dogs had been to the same vets their entire lives, but we decided to get a nearby vet and chose Brawley School Animal Hospital. Unfortunately, my older dog was diagnosed as having cancer in October. Dr. Marks and his staff have been wonderful and very compassionate in their treatment of our dog. As she was almost 13 when she was diagnosed and has a very large mass in her abdomen, he did not recommend, nor did we want, to put the dog through a lot of pa... read more
My Pet Received Unauthorized Procedure While Being Boarded My husband and I recently boarded our dog here while we were on vacation. We had requested she receive a bath while there and this is the only service we requested for her. When my husband picked her up and we looked at the bill we saw where a complimentary anal gland expression had been done on her. Upon contacting the office I questioned if my dog was showing any symptoms that led them to believe there was a problem. The only answer I received was the anal glands w... read more
Watch Out, You May Pay For Things You Didn't Ask For My husband and I recently boarded our dog at Brawley Animal Hospital while on vacation. When we went to pick him up, the vet wanted to talk to us about conditions he has had and been treated for for years. We had to wait about 40 minutes to see the vet (we didn't have a choice, they practically forced us to), then were given prescriptions for ailments our dog recieved as a result of being boarded (his eyes turn red every time we board him due to his allergies), and were bi... read more
Quality Care Just got my cat back from a 4 day stay at Brawley and the care was outstanding. Dr. Finkes called me twice a day to give me updates, and the entire staff was knowledgable and supportive when I went in to visit. Overall, very positive and nurturing environment. We are new to the area and I will not be looking elsewhere.
unprofessional I did not like the unprofessional doctors at this hospital. Both women were rude, and did not really engage us as when we took our dog to the vet. They were talking as if we were not even in the room. They spoke about their weekend, and boys, and drinking, etc
Dr. Laity was wonderful and efficient when she saw my dog Oliver who had been bitten in the lower eyelid the preceding evening at a dog park. We had waited 3 and 1/2 hours at mooresville animal hospital for our given appointment time of 2:00... so by 5:30 I finally demanded they give me my dog back and took him 9 minutes away to Harbor Point for Urgent Care. After Dr. Laity checked him and talked with me the appropriate medication was given (antibiotics and drops) and we went home. The phone call to check on Oliver the next ... read more
My standard poodle puppy chose the week before Christmas to get a nasty break on his right front leg. After calling multiple vets (even my own in Salisbury), nobody would see him without payment in full. I even had one vet suggest euthanasia if I "couldn't afford care". However, these awesome people not only agreed to see Gilligan on short notice, but also worked with me on payment. I am forever grateful for their help. They stayed in constant contact with me and treated Gillie like a star. This has by far been the best expe... read more
