So Gross. Currently at Brandon Hospital tower A in the surgical waiting area waiting on a loved one to come out of Surgery. Not one but two Cockroaches . Have been seen crawling on the waiting chairs and in the Bathroom. Scary aren’t hospitals supposed to be a sterile place. I am so discussed. Didn’t think I would come to the hospital and have to worry about Cockroaches while I am suppose to be focused on my loved one. Your welcome Brandon Hospital. You have TWO less Cockroaches to worry about in your surgical waiting area.
RecommendedI had an induction on Monday and everything went from calm to hectic very fast. The staff was absolutely amazing and I would never want to go anywhere else!! The nursing staff was on point and VERY attentive to what I needed and made sure I was as comfortable as possible. Dr. Granger and Kathi (midwife) were phenomenal!!! Definitely recommend Brandon regional!!!! Def 5 stars!
Wait time is ridiculous. Checked in at 9pm discharged myself at 2am , still seeing no dr and still being told I had 6+ people before me. So I can imagine how long they have been there ! There so quick to call you back for vitals an to do labs but you have to literally sit in the waiting room for hours just for a room to still wait 3+ hours before being seen. It’s sad how understaffed this hospital is if not everyone is just standing around talking! I’ve given this place several chances an they get worse. No to mention a few ... read more
Great location good facilities and services
I had a miscarriage and was a WRECK when I entered the doors to the pre-op area. My husband and I were literally having the worst week of our lives and the pre-op staff understood and showed so much compassion for us and our awful situation. Nurse Lacey in Pre-op along with Dr. Davis, Dr. Sunny, and the girls in charge of wheeling me back to OR and helping with my procedure actually had me from full on anxiety attacks to actually smiling for a brief moment of time. Had to take my husband to ER as he had a stab wound accident Sunday night. The nurse was most unhelpful telling me I could wrap the hand myself. This wound was at least an inch deep and cut tendons. Not once did they offer us even a Tylenol. I had to give my husband some from my car. Upon discharge the nurse then wrapped his hand in the INCORRECT position tourniquet style. Then told us we needed to see a specialist for tendon within 24hrs. Of course they took Xrays but did not give us copies for next appt staying we had to c... read more
On Friday I had out patient back surgery and I can not express how amazing the entire surgical team, nurses, and staff were. I was nervous about having my surgery done but they all made me feel at ease. I would and will recommend this hospital to anyone having anything done. Thank you for everything everyone did for me. And a great big Thank you to Dr. Henkin for doing my surgery. Truly the best Neuro surgeon in Tampa!
