I just delivered my baby boy & it was amazing. My water broke at 9:30 am and I delivered at 10:00am the same exact day (only 30 mins long). Staff were super fast and gentle but my only problem is after delivery I was needing somethings like extra pads, more ice, etc and they kept forgetting and one staff was always on her phone. But I loved how quick my labor and delivery was and very clean.
The experience to start took forever to get seen. Once I was in triage, the tal ws short. I spoke with a PA and they put me back in the waiting room. My entire visit took place in a waiting room Including where the administered the meds in my IV. I never was in an exam room. I was sick and freezing in the waiting room. When it was time to go to have my cat scan, the gentlemen who escorted me said to me "you can walk right?" Then proceeded to have me drag the IV rack with me. I was not okay to walk. I was a 7 in pain in my ki... read more
The doctors here are hacks. A doctor nearly broke my arm, and nurses couldn't tell my cousin what was wrong with her.
Brandon Regional Hospital I absolute love and respect all the ladies and nurses in the baby delivering section helping my wife and I through a very tough time of going through a still birth. I can not say enough good things about them to express how great they are
I think the staff there is slow they stand around and talk way too much if it was their family member that was hurting and waiting to be seen they would probably move quicker I think it's ridiculous that it takes 3 hours to get to the back and when I got back there finally with my husband with a severe infection that the doctor said 24 hours he would have been dead I seen about 6 empty beds that somebody could have been occupying and when they finally got him upstairs there was about four rooms they get when he asked for som... read more
I'd like to start by saying that I am in the medical field and everyone around me tells me not to go to brandon. This is the second time I've been to brandon for a surgery. From the time I walked in the day of surgery thru the whole procedure I dealt with amazingly professional and personable staff. My only disappointment is how long it took for me to discharge but I was in pain and needed pain meds, and I understand I can't be discharged immediately after receiving them. All In all if I ever need day surgery again I will be... read more
It's been great here....that told great cAre of me
My surgery time was for 11:30am and was told I had to be there two hours early. Got there at 9:20am and wasn't taken back to surgery until 3:30pm. Wasn't release until 7:00pm. I can under stand a little delay cause things can happen, but not a 4 hour delay. I was the last person they did surgery on. Not happy nor will I be back.
I was there for over 6 hours. They only treated ONE of my three concerns. And messed up my prescriptions after that. I attempted to speak to the Director of Medicine about my complaint, and that was a joke. Smdh. Get it together people.
