Very good hospital since it's been rebuilt, it used to be terrible but now it's great. Considering making this my home hospital or at least backup hospital
How do you have 3.5 stars??? I went to Brandon 4x for oxygen related problems, was discharged every time. I had no insurance. My social worker during one of the admissions told me "lose weight, get a job, get insurance"... how can I do that if I can barely breathe... oh and then I complain about a doctor I had a negative experience with in the past, and instead of getting a new doctor, I get discharged... wtf?!?... I'm done with BRH, the new Brandon HealthPlex for Tampa General just opened, worth the drive... I stayed there ... read more
These people are amazing as soon as that I walked to the ER that took care of me and an hour later I was already in my room very nice
Outstanding care. I spent two nights here after surgery and felt that every single employee did a terrific job.
They took my friends visitation away cause his mom wanted to stay longer then they accused her of bringing him drugs.
Absolutely terrible!! It's like they heard cattle, people have been here 5 hours. RIDICULOUS
Terriable experience. Er staff sucked and did not understand nor listen to anything.
Last year I brought my son up for coughing up blood and they said it was due to his surgery. He had his tonsils removed. They tried to send us home and told us to give him ice water. I'm sitting in the waiting room and he starts coughing up blood again. I rush him back there and they said he is okay take him home. Well I rushed him to St Pete children hospital and they told me my son had blood in his stomach and could have died and had to go right back for surgery.
