I went into service dept for a recall at 8:30 am. I told service worker it was funny the letter came in mail bc my check engine light came on yesterday. She then advised they would run a diagnostic but I wouldn't be charged since I was bringing it for the recall part. more of a formality. hours later she calls and tells me the problem is something else and since I did not agree to pay $564 I still had to pay the diagnostic fee.
