I contacted Alicia, the leasing agent, on a Tuesday to ask about the availability of a 2-bedroom unit. She confirmed it was available and scheduled a tour for Thursday. I was going to hold off on writing this review, but I must say I have had my fair share of unpleasant experiences with other apartments complexes over the past few weeks. I rather not go into details, but I want to personally say that Ms. Alicia is not just working for a pay check. She goes above and beyond to invite you out to the property for viewing, she’s upfront about the application process and fees. I was very excited to call Branchwater my home one day. I desired to live here for over a year. A friend of mine referred this property to me, so my expectations were high. The staff seemed nice at first, but that suddenly changed after I applied. My application was denied and I understand why. However, it was how it was done and how the staff treated me afterwards. Apartment is big and decently priced BUT… water bill is $180-$200 a month. We are one couple, so this seems outrageous. There are ALWAYS problems with the water. Something is always leaking in our apartment, moldy showers, and the water is constantly being worked on and is often turned off. From first glance everything looks updated, but it’s all done very cheaply. Dried dripping white paint, cupboards are covered in a laminate instead of painted, and vents have never been cleaned.
