Bramble & Hare, the original Farmhouse Kitchen and Pub, opened its doors in July 2012. Founded by Chef Eric Skokan and his wife, Jill, as the sister restaurant to their Black Cat Farm~Table~Bistro. It is named with two things in mind; their 1925 farmstead, Bramble Hill, and the artful agility and cleverness of the Paris cabaret, Lapin Agile, in Steve Martin's play Picasso at Lapin Agile (agile rabbit.) My wife and I came in on a Sunday early. It was busy when we first came in. The bartender made my wife a fabulous old fashioned and me a exceptional gin drink. We started with a awesome cheese plate and then we both got the braised pork. We finished with the carrot cake. Well Done!
