Braise is not only one of the most promising restaurants in Milwaukee, it is also committed to teaching its diners about where food comes from and how it is processed. All of the ingredients in the dishes are locally sourced whenever possible and the owners even have their own culinary school in the restaurant. The menu changes daily, however some of the examples on the menu include a cheese plate, trout, pork loin and other Nouvelle American inspired cuisine. The bar menu includes many local beers and a superb wine list for... read more

I recommend this place! Very good food! Love the energy, the philosophy, and the staff is great!
Very welcoming environment. Great food. Love their guest chefs food
Attended a Braise (and Co.) farm dinner in Kiel. What a wonderful experience. Lucky enough to be seated next to farmer extraordinaire Steve Deibele who was kind enough to field our city-folk questions all evening. Bringing together Milwaukee’s best and brightest chefs is brilliant. They each rose to the challenge and prepared a delicious and interesting feast. And by the way, did I mention the beer pairings? Thoughtful and spot on! Can’t wait to sign up next summer.
Attended. Wedding here this past weekend and I can’t say enough wonderful things about the service and food! The meals were AMAZING and so fresh and plentiful. I highly recommend Braise and look forward to returning!
Excellent food and service. Try it!!!
The Braise Morel Mushroom Forage and Al Fresco Lunch Event is getting better and better every year!
pork steamed buns really good..especially that crispy pork. Pork pulled and then fried into a cake with arugula and some type of sauce...which was good but not awesome. But the polenta and mushrooms was the star of the show! Amazing!!
everything was excellent! from the flavors and selections on the menu to our very attentive waiter, Aaron. Great decor, atmosphere and love the farms being utilized for menu items.
Fun cooking class. Great for a group.
