All of my children have seen Dr. Nau since birth, and my oldest is 17 now. His manner with them is wonderful, and he has done an excellent job of treating them. One child had unique issues with her bladder and kidneys, and ended up needing surgery, and Dr. Nau is the one who discovered the problem and referred us to an Iowa City specialist. I have no complaints at all about his care.
Dr Nau was one of the worst things that happened to me when I gave birth to my son at Mary Greeley. The fact that I'm writing this 12 years later really shows how much his behavior affected me. Of all the things he did, the worst was to say that my baby needed to be put on formula because he was jaundiced and needed to be under the bili lights. Please don’t take your kids to this man. Especially if you are having ear problems. This man is the reason I am Deaf. I had tumors growing in my ear and he kept giving me tubes and ignoring the problem until it was so bad the real ear nose & throat doctor that I went to said he couldn’t even see my eardrum anymore. 6 surgery’s later I’m 20 years old and deaf because of this man’s lack of attention and fast pace in and out in the office.
