I had a previous spinal surgery done by a Doctor from Henry Ford hospital Rochester, Michigan and it didn't turn out very well. So I went to see Dr Ahlgren and he said he would have to do a lot of testing to see if he could help me. I called the doctor's office to discuss setting up some sort of a consultation over the phone or Zoom for my elderly mother, but was informed the doctor does not do phone calls and we would have to make an appointment and drive 13 hours to see if the doctor would be able to offer her any hope. She has her back history in MRIs that could be provided so the doctor could preview prior to a call. Absolutely not, said the receiptionist. I truly find that hard to believe.
