Change in ownership! Not really a review, but FYI, about two weeks ago, unbeknownst to me, (my first contact with this place) this yard was bought out by B&R Auto Wrecking out of Portland. They are now part of a chain of eleven yards in Oregon and Washington. I called about three parts and got a person from one of the other yards, but he was able to look it up on their computer and found that two of the three parts were in the Chehalis yard. i-5 Love this place! They may be a little up front but they are quick and to the point. I may be getting a truck there and have had family get parts there many many times and they never have problems.
Dont know what all the fuss is about.. This place has an amazing selection. There is everything from classic mopar to newer BMWs. Sometimes the guys there can be short tempered but overall they can get you where you need to go. Much more helpful than any pick-a-part or pull-a-part I've ever been to. If they dont have the part 9 times out of 10 they can tell you which yard has it. I've gotten everything there from an explorer seat to geo metro interior handles (hard to find!). I deffinetly reccomend them.
DISGUSTED i agree with others totally. they need to clean house. totally desrespectful. dont care to sell you anything. whats wrong with this owner??? its been like this for years!!. the owner must be just like the FLIM-FLAMERS behind the counter. they need to shut this place down.
BAD place Bad place drove all the way their (120 mi) to get not working fan and had to argue with them to atleast have the junk tested they didn1`t have a clue how to test the fan almost got to calling police
I-5 Auto Good selection, largest yard in the area by far. Prices not too bad, in general. But as the others have said, the guys behind the counter are generally jerks. Pick-A-Part is better and cheaper, but they rarely inventory newer vehicles.
OK is all I give 'em I read all of the horrible reviews - but needed to get the engine assembly in a bad way for my 2006 Chrysler 300 HEMI C. I got minimal gruff over the phone - but partly due to my overly nice attitude knowing the bad reviews. I arrived and the engine was still attached to the transmission - so i waited. bolts were sheared off during extraction, so a discount was issued and i paid less. They argued when I asked for it to be put on a pallett, but, we worked it out. overall -- we'll see. the engine is being ... read more
Jerk is a very nice word for him. We went there for a drive and to find out information about a truck part and a small car inside part. The guy was absolutely more than a jerk. We had our grandson with us and I was totally embarrassed as how he spoke to everyone. He needs to get another job. I heard there is an opening for sheep herders in Montana, Idaho, and Wyoming. Maybe he would get along better with the sheep.
Very Helpful! I was looking for a computer for my car and had been looking for it for months. The gentlemen that I dealt with (mostly Jim but also Harold) were very nice and exceptionally helpful. I am from California and could not go there but they pulled the part and made sure it was the right one. Most of the reviews that are bad are poor grammar and do not give proper consideration to certain things. This tells me about their authors. This is a wrecking yard - you are not buying new parts.
