HistoryThe Boyd Farm has been continuously in the Boyd family for over 100 years, and continues to be a working farm. David J. Boyd and his wife Kate Moody Boyd were large landowners and a prosperous farming family. They had many hundreds of acres of land from the present location to further up Hemphil Road. We love coming here to pick out our annual Christmas Tree. They are always friendly, have a great selection of sizes. They run a great system for picking up the tree and tying it to your car. Many activities and you never feel rushed.
Had a wonderful time. Everyone was so friendly. Family fun for sure!

Great experiece to share with family and friends that you will be tempted to turn into a yearly tradition. Friendly service from parking to paying with complementary snacks, hot chocolate and apple cider, and Santa photo opp. Great for the whole family no matter the age and fur babies are welcome which is always a plus for me!
For 3 years we have made wonderful family memories here. Our children look forward to finding and cutting our "own" tree. The trees are well tended & decently priced. It's well organized to keep things moving. There was a cold wind blowing, so the free hot chocolate, cider and cookies were a nice treat while we waited for our tree to be wrapped. p.s. we also bought a wreath!
What a beautiful farm, filled with beautiful Frasier firs! Such a fun experience for the family!!
We love the experience of hunting for our perfect tree at the Boyd Mountain tree farm! We have gone here every year for several years and have always been pleased! Our younger children also love that Santa is there to hear their Christmas wishes.
