Boyd and his wife Kate Moody Boyd were large landowners and a prosperous farming family. They had many hundreds of acres of land from the present location to further up Hemphil Road. We love Boyd’s farm, we bring a tree back to Florida after our vacation in the mountains every year. Nothing like cutting down your own tree to get you in the Christmas spirit.
If you have small kids this place is a great experience for cutting your own Christmas Tree

Friendly staff, and great selection..
Fun and beautiful outdoor experience! Staff was great and informative since it was our first visit. Complimentary hot cider and snacks- do not get that anywhere! Noticed they have pretty cabin rentals. May be back during a different season! 😀
