Amazing experience. We are just now getting around to burning the tree and it is still GREEN! Crazy! We cut it down in November and it is still living. We will be back for sure.
Business response:
That's great to hear! Looking forward to seeing you again this year!
This place is beautiful. Very impressive. Will be traveling up next year to get our tree.
We had a wonderful experience. The cabin was awesome, authentic. Location was great. Loved the walking trails. Love to come back.
We have been going to this farm for the last 6 years and it never disappoints! We skipped one year because we moved cities and it is now a 2.5h drive for us. We have decided it’s worth the day trip. We have made many family memories there by not only picking our tree but also ha going out by the lake, by the warm fire, saying hi to Santa, eating cookies, drinking hot chocolate, coloring books, playing on their lawn, etc. I highly recommend it and you need to go early because they can sell out quickly.
I bought a freshly cut tree around mid November (as soon as they started selling) put it up and have watered it regularly. I just pulled on the needles and they are holding firm. I may decorate it for Valentine’s Day. Thank you Boyd family!
Beautiful land and experience! Highly recommend!
$125 for a 6' tree? You've hit you're head. Went back to candler and got one that was cut the day before and paid half. Hell I went to Frosty a d didn't pay that much and we got a piece of the base made into an ornament. I'll make sure I keep people away from this place.
Beautiful trees and the staff are friendly and helpful Great experience
This was our second year making the trip to Boyd’s from upstate SC. It’s a 3-hour round trip for us, and well worth the drive. It’s absolutely beautiful out there! For the people complaining about pricing...you’re also paying for the experience of being able to go and pick out and cut down if you wish, your perfect tree. You’re not choosing a tree from a tree lot, that you don’t know will last until Christmas with how long it hasn’t been watered, sitting on a lot. These are beautiful trees and the staff couldn’t have been mo... read more
