GREED, LIES, LACK OF INTEGRITY I can't believe the parent company "Town Sports International Holdings, Inc" is actually a public company! While the subsidiary is running a fraudulent business. Such a big joke. They kept charging my account after I cancelled my membership, in person, in their facility office, with this lady named Sharon. Very shady business practices. They make it impossible to cancel. They keep charging your account even when you cancel in person. When I called to complain they told me they had no record of my cancellation and refused to stop the charges. Their manager, Tom, is the worst manager of a business I have ever dealt with. He was very rude and called me a liar.

Cancelations can now be made through the mail by sending a letter or in person. Very poor and sketchy management. They were good years ago but since then management has changed for the worse. A lot of fraudulent charges and impossible to receive decent customer service. STAY AWAY from this gym. Most people I know have left it is only a matter of time until the business bureau shuts them down.

After letting the fraudulent charges at the beginning of pandemic slide, manager Thomas Bujold of BSC Lexington told me he wouldn’t reverse the most recent charge, even though I tried contacting them about freezing my membership many months ago and received no emails back (whatsoever). My inquiry was sent via an online form, which conveniently sends no confirmation email of the correspondence. Awful and dishonest pricing , facility is dirty and machines are not operating properly even after multiple complaints are made.

They should recognize that ending a membership doesn't have to be so adversarial. Also, their billing practices amount to fraud. I trusted BSC with my credit card number and BSC has betrayed the trust by engaging in unfair billing practices.

This page does not let you write a post but you can make comments on one so can anyone tell me how long the membership fee is been 49.99 for a year and 59.99 for month to month? I have been charged 69.00 a month for years and they will not stop even though I do not go to the gym and have canceled my credit cards two time I think it crazy I am paying more then a month to month member and can't get out of the gym so if anyone can tell me when this fee changes and they added the no contract option that would help me take them t... read more

Awful policies when it comes to membership cancellations, can't cancel over the phone, 45 days notice to cancel, to pay the annual fee if billed even after giving the cancellation notice. So in short they try to recover atleast 6 months of dues on cancellation notice.
