We truly enjoyed our time at the Buckminster. It was clean, employees were great. Had dinner inside downstairs at UNO’s without having to go out in the cold. Enjoyed breakfast at the hotels Fenway Grill. Great location close to train and House of Blues as well as much more. It would have been a five but shower was not hot. The sink was so I assume the shower needs a new mixing valve. I hope when they eventually do their renovating they restore and keep the charming old character of the building .

Older building, well maintained. Great location and not as pricy as most.

Great location....ok hotel. We got a great deal ($120/nt) through the secret escapes website but they put us in a very dated, plain room. It was ok b/c we were there for only one night but wouldn't have stayed any longer. Blinds let light in, no outlets & backed up to two a/c units; which were loud. Usually stay at Hotel Commonwealth or The Verb; which are both nicer. I know they have nicer rooms available but we didn't get to see them.

It was obvious that the room was recently renovated. The kitchenette area was well set up. Plenty of cupboard space. The appliances were new as well. Only stayed one night but would be happy to spend extended time there. Now the kitchen was well set up but there were no dishes or silverware. Something that should be addressed. The view of Fenway was nice and Uno's downstairs was a bonus. We look forward to going back.
