This was good barbecue. The meat was tender, the hot barbecue sauce was not too hot and really smoky flavored, and the hush puppies with the sauce were to die for. Prompt and courteous service. Good price. One thing, get a regional microbrew on draft.
This place has good food when they're actually open. It says on Facebook that they are open right now. I'm calling to place an order but I keep getting the voicemail. How can anyone take you serious as a business if you guys don't honor your own hours. Looks like I'm ordering fromantic Acme. They are always open when they say they're open. Get it together.
What happened ? Ate there last night and it was a big disappointment. We've eaten there before and I loved it. Bragged on the food and recommended it to others. OK barbecue. Best I've found north of Memphis. (I'm from Texas.) Excellent service. My server, I deduced from a conversation she had with her boss just before I left, was working on her day off because someone else did not show up. She was doing that cheerfully and was quick to greet me when I sat down and checked back often (but not too often) to make sure I was OK. I'll go again.
A bit of a wait for service because the wait server was totally on her own and there were a few large parties. Not only was the food amazing but she never skipped a beat or let on how crazy it was..totally professional! Increase your staff during busy times..you'll probably do a better business for it!! Will definitely go back..reasonable $$ and awesome food
