Went there last night, my boyfriend got the ribs, they were pretty good. I got the strip steak, toughest strip steak ive ever had. Sat at the bar, no bar tender in sight, had to flag down a waitress to go find her. Wasn't impressed. Pretty expensive too
Ordered take out. The staff was very nice but the brisket was so tough we couldn't bite through it, the ribs just so-so, and it was all way over priced. We won't be back.
Bootleg BBQ was good food although pre-made and reheated. The restaurant business was slow so no reason for the very slow service, so-so food quality, and good-at-best server service. One sandwich ordered arrived cold and had to go look around restaurant to find our server.
3/18/2017 Food was great. We got there 45 minutes before closing with a big group and they stayed opened late for us and we had a great time. The owner and the waitress were fabulous. Definitely will be back.

So sad that it has gone down hill. I looked forward to going there before. I will not make the trip again.
For the most part the food was good. The smoked chicken was a bit dry inside but still very good. My collard greens had a vinegar taste to it which I did not care for. They were out of the peach ice tea which I would like to try. I got the Bay Breeze which was small and not that tasty and it was $4.50. A little pricey for what it was.
