Mixed feelings about the Boomtown. My girlfriend and I planned a trip to the World Famous Lobster Buffet! The buffet was delicious! The only problem with that was I ate too much! Issues we had with Boomtown were #1: There was a wasp in my sheets that stung me and then flew to the ceiling where he met his demise!! #2: The hotel room door either didn't close fully or it wouldn't open. # 3: The hotel overcharged for the night by $180.00!! Me and my wife went on a vacation a little to Boomtown it was a really good one machines weren't paying that well but had a good meal at the steakhouse and Mel's Diner overall it was a very good trip
Great food for a short stay... will be back soon hopefully.
Place was neat, very clean. Staff was friendly. The lobster feast was the worse ever. Food was hard and dried out. Nothing tasted fresh. Even the desserts were stale. The person giving out the lobster was really rude. Just over all, it sucked and I WILL NEVER eat there again.
Easy on and off freeway. Not over crowded. Had a good time
Thursday BBQ buffet is really great....the price is unbelievable so cheap...
I am here for a little get away. Deaths in the family ( twin baby boys). Since I am here on the weekdays, very mellow and nice. Met some great, friendly veterans and their spouses. I wanted to try Baja Mexican ( not open). Only 2 places are open, Peets coffee and Mel's Diners. I definitely would return again in the near future. Great staffs. One of the staff speaks 5 different languages
Horrible. Don't ever eat at Mel's. Took 40 min to get our food, it was cold and service was bad. Casino was dirty. I'll never go back.
