After booking a room thru expedia twice to get a non-smoking room upon check-in it was smoking room and was told hotel was completly full. Desk person said your room has a balcony so you can open the door.Stepped out of elevator on sixth floor and was hit with the smell of cannabis so strong.It was like that everytime we left and returned to the room just awful.After letting desk person know the next am she had no solution and shared they didn't have a policy about it but that many guests had complained.There are so many cho... read more
Everything pretty nice for a casino hotel however, I highly suggest the doors be sealed for hallway noise penetrates into the room
The food at Mel’s was undercooked. Steak was not good.
We love staying here! The rooms are clean. The staff is so nice. The arcade is great. Food is good. Only complaint is every station should have a first aid kit. Example: the arcade, the restaurant, the front desk, should all have a first aid kits. Or at least band aids. I cut my hand on a game in the arcade and asked every counter on my way to the security station. Then no one was there to help. I finally got a players card. When we first got to the room I checked out the bed to find nasty bloodstains on the sheets. Foul. We go out to the balcony and the door handle on the outside was busted completely off and nowhere to be found. Lobster buffet was a joke overcooked and overpriced! Mels was better hell Pete's coffee was the best out of everything. Delicious! Thanks for making our 10th anniversary a shit show, I'm lucky to have a husband that makes everything fun!
What a blast this place is a sweet retreat and not far from Reno we have been going to Boomtown for many years and it just keeps getting better every time we stay
I never never win in boomtown
First time for their buffet , cheaper and it’s good, lot of selections. Their slot machine mostly new, I’m comfortable playing with it. A lot of nicest machines. Please, come and visit the place highly recommended.
