RecommendedThis is and has been my favorite hibachi restaurant ever! I’ve tried over 50 Japanese steak houses and none of them comes remotely close to Bonsai! I wish I could franchise here in Houston, Texas!!!
Food is terrible..I tried to convince my co-workers to try Toko Express..I ordered the scallaps and steak paid $16.48 for 4 scallops and tough steak bites. Definitely sticking with Toko Express.

Definitely not same quality as it was 10 years ago. Don’t order the shrimp, they are not deveined, unless you like eating intestinal slop. Service was good though.
I ordered hibachi shrimp for lunch carry out today with two additional orders of fried rice. Fried rice was old and overcooked. The hibachi order rice looked better and tasted fair. However the shrimp were spoiled and tasted rotten. It smelled horrible. I tasted it and had to spit it out.
Terrible food even worse service!!!!! They literally brought to go boxes and the check IMMEDIATELY after bringing the food!!!
