I have now moved to 29 Palms in California. A good three hour drive from Dr Bold. I have a friend who has just moved here from Arkansas and she needs new glasses. I have already booked her an appointment with Dr Bold. Its a long trip but the quality of service, the products and the friendliness are so worth the travel time. To address some other reviews. I've always been really iffy with going to the eye doctor as I usually find the procedures really invasive. Dr. Bold, is very genuine, kind, polite and non-invasive as you can get with an eye exam. Someone I definitely recommend, knows what they're talking about and make sure you get what you need and not try to sell you something you don't.

I don't usually write reviews, but in this case I wanted to make sure my voice was heard. My experience with Dr Bold was wonderful. The staff was very friendly and outgoing. They made it easy to set my appointment and I wasn't kept waiting when I arrived. I have a hectic schedule and they made my appointment a pleasure. I have recommended Dr Bold optometry to my friends and will continue there as a satisfied patient in the future thanks to Dr Bold and his amazing staff!!
I go to the Newport Beach location. I know they have two. I know they float the same staff back and forth so I would go to either. Very kind, friendly and helpful. I came into Dr. Bolds office after my insurance did not cover my old optometrist whom I really liked. I had a few to choose from in the area but I am so glad I hit the right spot. When I entered the office the two people working the office greeted me with big smiles. Then we thought I might have an insurance problem and Irene from Dr. Bolds office actually took the time to call my insurance to clear my exam which was listed as too soon but I needed it for health reasons. My experience at Dr. Bold���s office has been one of the best I had with any doctor. Dr. Bold is an exceptional optometrist. I have visited both offices in La Palma and Newport Beach and I wouldn���t go anywhere else. The doctor paid special attention to my needs and found the best solution for my astigmatism. The stuff is wonderful and very upbeat. Their selection can accommodate any pocket. I liked the fact that I was given options. Great experience. Going back in 6 months.
