Where do I begin? This place is ridiculous! 2 hours behind schedule. Forget to take blood for specific tests when I asked about the test multiple times. Come to get results today and get told oh yeah, we need more blood work. Duh! Carrie is AMAZING! She truly cares and loves her job. The rest of the staff I have met with, not so much. The receptionist for the blood draw is a rude bitch!
It was nice to be greeted by happy staff members of the VA.
Horrible. They prevent Peoria vets from using the Chioce Program to get care locally. All they want to do is twist the wording of the Choice Program to keep making Peoria vets drive 2 hours to Danville or 3 1/2 hours to Indianapolis to see a specialist. Just because you happen to live within 40 miles of this VA Clinic in Peoria they are keeping us from using Choice and refuse to do anything to fix this problem.
If what is wrong with me ends up being fatal, which it may very well be given the symptoms and location, I am most likely to die before the V.A. even gets around to knowing what it is. Stop the upper admin shinnanigans and do what you are supposed to do and help your vets!!! My next step is writing letters, starting with Ray Lahood and my local paper and then continuing higher until I and everyone else in need starts seeing results. YOUR POLITICS FOR A BIGGER PAYCHECK ARE KILLING US!!!!!!
Takes a long time to get a appointment n the va choice program sucks too . Ive been waiting a month now for shoulder surgery ..
