Dr Kalani really delves into topics and does not just say it is depression or anxiety. He finds out the symptoms and explains what it is. I have seen another psychiatrist and they just diagnosed me without going into detail
he is extremely unhelpful to those with adhd and neurodivergent people, especially if you are young. if you can deal with him for once a month to get your prescription filled, and you have no other options, that's the only case i would reccomend seeing him. nothing he says is helpful, he won't help you later if you need documentation, and in general he is not knowledgable about the very basic things he claims to know about and is overall a very invalidating, bad doctor

Dr Kalani is an exceptional doctor, I don't know any other doctor who would have done what he did for me. I have been have a hard times dealing with life event both financially and medically. Dr Kalani did two sessions for free for me so that I can receive the help I needed. and I really needed the help and was ashamed to ask for it because I knew I wouldn't be able to pay. I would forever be grateful for his kindness and his humanity towards me.

I have found Dr Bob Kalani to be a greedy self serving waste of time and money. I was treated by him for several months for anti-depression and he tried to strongarm me into an ADHD treatment so he could hook me into long term care. His face to face time is very brief, he seems most interested in prescribing pills, collecting payments and scheduling you back in two weeks. I found my own research and taking the vitamin supplement 5-HTP more beneficial than wasting over $3,000.00 on office visits
