RecommendedAfter 2 years of headaches, continual hard starts and throwing parts I finally figured out the problem with my 2005 Volvo Penta 5.7 Gi-E. And John is a big reason why it’s fixed!!! Recently had issues with my 496 ho’s running lean. John mosetti pinpointed the issue to fuel pumps and sent him my injectors and fuel rails to be cleaned. ( I can tell you how not to ship them). Fast turn around and explained findings verified my concerns and boat runs better than before.
John was very honest and explained the issues my boat had and how the best way to fix them would be. There was no pressure and I felt confident in his abilities to make everything safe.
John was pure gold! So glad I found him, he helped me with a pcm 555 issue and even walked me through where to look on the Motor side for the cause of the issue. Saved me a lot of money and most importantly time! I would recommend anyone with an issue to give John a call!
I can not say enough about Boats Unlimited and the owner John. Extremely knowledgeable about all areas of boats plus extremely helpful, he will spend the time to make sure a boater understands the answers to their questions. Top notch problem solver and has proven over and over again for in-depth repairs on my boat and currently 2 of my friends boats. I could not be happier with everything he has done. My boat has never ran this good.
John helped me get me diagnose a bad pcm555 and then I had him service my injectors on a pair of 525’s. Always willing to give advise and help people out. I hadn’t even give John a dime and he spent over an hour walking me through a few things and going over what he recommended when I was rebuilding my motors as far as injectors and pcm issues. Needless to say he was the first guy I turn to to have injectors done and any ecm repaired. Thanks.
I cannot say enough great things about John Mosetti and Boats Unlimited! I just recently moved to Texas looking for help on my boat. It has Mercruiser 496 2005 year model. John was very highly recommended by many other boaters on the forums and around the area. I reached out to him about working on boat, John spent hours on the phone after hours answering my 1000s of questions.
