ITS BEAUTIFUL LOTS OF MOTHER NATURE TO ENJOY
The boat ramp has a very good fish cleaning station, and I’ve never walked the trails but they look gorgeous from the pictures I’ve seen. Watch out for mosquitoes and bring plenty of big spray or a thermacell.

Goose Island State Park is still working hard to recover from hurricane Harvey and they have worked hard to reopen March 1st. The staff and volunteers have been able to clear, replace and or repair all the campsites in the Wooded Area, which is where we stayed. The island it’s self and the fishing pier received damage that will take major structural replacements to be useable again. The staff are very user friendly with a servant’s heart. We will be back in 2019 and look forward to see this park recover.
