Great place to fish. Beautiful wooded area. Fairly clean restrooms. Nice campsites. Lots of birds. Friendly staff. 👍👍 Only 2 SMALL trails to hike. Can't bring your own firewood- and have to leave park to purchase it. 👎

We had a great time during our stay. We tent camped in the 30 amp area and with the exception of mosquitoes we had a great time. The wooded area was cozy and quiet. It was a great place to camp and the pier was great.

We loved it. Only two things. 1 it's a small park but, with that being said if you like to fish it's awesome. 2 the airboats use the boat ramp there so it very loud. Besides that it's cool place to checkout.

There are no trails to walk (a .66 mile afterthought trail isn't worth a thing ) and nothing to do with the exception of a few observation decks or fishing... which one can do all over the area without paying the $5 per person park entry fee. Incidentally, this park takes care of the Big Tree which isn't on the park proper so no fee is required to see the tree... you would think that they would create a trail from the campground to... read more

By far my favorite place to go camping at since I was 10 years old. Lots of crabs and fish to catch here and plenty of place to ride a mountain bike at.
