This place is a great campground right on the bay!!👍
The good: bay front sites are right on the water. Nice long fishing pier. The bad: Each time you exit and re-enter you Have to wait behind people who are registering at entrance. The bay front area has just reopened, and it is very confusing how/where to park you rig. The utilities are on one side of each shade structure but if you back in, your door is on the opposite side. the sourounding neighborhoods are safe to ride around very little traffic and super friendly people and plenty of wild life to see
We love riding our bike through the park and surrounding properties- beautiful with so much wildlife.
This is my absolute FAVORITE camping and fishing place. We’ve NEVER had issues with anything, except mesquites and at that time the park was going around and spraying/fogging everywhere. Doing ALL the could. I really wish they had a consistent bait shop open. I love the pier and can’t wait to fish on the new one. I caught my biggest fish ever off that pier. Many memories created with my children and grandchildren. THANK YOU Goose Island - can’t wait to come back. ❤️❤️ Goose Island
Good nature experience! State Park police cruises through to keep people safe. Park rangers are friendly.
Great location, very well maintained and great showers!
Beautiful and private site! Really nice folks checked us in at Ranger Station. We will be back!
