Three weeks prior to the lease end, I went for the pre-inspection and was told the front tire's tread was a little worn, but they should be fine. Wednesday, I went after 186 miles of 3 weeks of driving and they said the tires were bad. Now, I use to work as a mechanic when I was a teenager, on average you lose1/32 per 5000 miles of careful driving but let us say is 1500 miles. Terrible customer service. I overpaid on my account in bill lay online by a huge amount by putting too many zeros. They said it would take 15 business days to refund the money. Plus they paid off my loan without asking!!! They received Mindy 1/26 and still do not have refund. Horrible customer service responses when I called. Would not wire my money or fed ex refund. I was told when I financed my vehicle that paying more than the minimum monthly payment would reduce the principle faster and therefore reduce the amount of interest I had to pay. I have made 54 payments, 50 of them in excess of the monthly amount and have now paid the entire amount of the original loan. BMW Financial insists that I owe them an additional $800 in interest. Either they lied to me at the outset or they are trying to bully me into paying more than I owe them, now.

BMW Financial is ruthless to its customers during this tough time. They won't help with ending lease earlier - they did not want to have anything to do with it. Then I paid over $120 to find a buyer to take my lease. They charged buyer $533 for the transfer. Then they said it will take 6 - 8 weeks to complete the lease transfer, which includes 10 business days for review of document and 16 business days for internal review. I ended up losing the buyer. They should be ashamed of themselves!

Have leased 8 cars with bmw financial, currently still leasing 3. In august my last lease was due and i returned it to the dealership, i was told i would get a call or email from bmw confirming the lease return and a bill for lease termination/ any excess wear and tear. Received no email or phone call for 6 weeks, then collections called me saying i never paid the lease end fee. I would not get a loan from BMW financial they are not helping customers lower there payments with a low interest rate with the economy like it is cornavirus, people loosing there jobs, can't make payments. They will not work with you to bring your payments down. I was told go to another institution and find a lower interest rate! They are garbage! I decided to buy my car off lease and overnight mailed a check to them with their sales paperwork. Over a week later, i realized that the money had not been credited to me. Yes, they did find my money, but only after several calls (including to my bank to find out where the check went). They were not apologetic and, if i hadn't called back, i'm not sure they would have found the check in the first place. This they admitted too. My car was totaled when I was hit by another car while stopped on Sept. 25th, 2018. Over the past months I have done my best to be in constant contact with BMW Financial to make sure that they were aware of the situation as things unfolded and for me to understand their process. THE PROCESS HAS BEEN BEYOND PAINFUL. Their system is very broken and I refuse to be a victim to it. Extraordinarily poor transparency when it comes to Lease end accounting and appraisal. I received 4 different itemized end of lease bills and appraisals all with different numbers and accounting regarding total bill and refund due. The customer service agents, while courteous, are not knowledgeable regarding the billing and you will spend 30+ minutes on the phone while they try to sort things out. I love BMW -- but have had a very frustrating time working with Financial Services. Please exercise caution.
