We have been here twice the first time we had to go here was November 2015. After 10 mos of chemo we had to have our Reese put down. The staff was so kind and caring. We debated for 4 mos and decided to adopt Macy our girl was 10 mos old on October 19th the day she got into some toxin. Again wonderful and caring staff, finally at 2:00 am she was much better and got to come home with us, now she is back to her playful puppy self. We can't thank you enough.
They were so nice. They took great care of my dog.
My regular Vet was not available late at night, but their phone message recommended Sarasota Vet Emergency hospital, and I am thankful for their service, care and kindness shown when I brought my elderly dog in. I hope I do not need to go back there, but would not think twice about it if I have to.
We had to bring our Murphy here after surgery. The staff and vets were wonderful and took great care of our boy. They sent pics to us through texts. He was there for 4 nights and felt secure about the care he was getting. Recommend 100%. Also would recommend Animal ER if you are up in Lakewood Ranch.
I can't say enough positive comments about Sarasota Veterinary Emergency Hospital. We took our family member Brandy a 9 year old Beagle there yesterday based on the recommendation from our regular vet after she experienced some severe bleeding from a mass in her neck. We had been budgeting to have the surgery performed this week by our vet but due to the amount of blood she lost we knew we needed to do something ASAP. Never somewhere we want to have to go, but if you must this is the place!! We came here after being recommended by our regular Vet if we ever needed anything after hours or on a weekend. We ended up having to say goodbye to our dog on a Sunday evening and I couldn't bear to go because I was overwhelmed with sadness, but my husband was treated with such compassion, kindness, understanding, and empathy.
