Great for the 'beautiful people'... – I have shopped here a multiple times, each time having the same experience as one other reviewer that the staff is generally cold and snobbish. I did not see everyone having that same experience. It seemed if you were 20-30 and a size 0 they were more than happy to help you and gave lots of samples. If you are 40 and plus size as I am(though with plenty of money to spend), you basically get the cold shoulder. It was all they could bring themselves to do to take my money. Go figure. Blissful – As a frequent Bliss client in NYC, Bluemercury has been quite a find. Just moved here from NYC and didn't think I would find such a great place.
Cold, impersonal and disappointing – The staff is very cold and impersonal and act like they are doing you a favor by waiting on you. I am a fan of Comptoir Sud Pacifique's vanilla. Last weekend I bought a L'Occitane vanilla foaming bath and said that I had never tried it before. The girl was aghast thinking I had never tried a vanilla bath product. I explained that I used Comptoir but she did not care. I have seen them give samples to other customers but I have never received even ONE. I never feel good shopping at Bluemerc... read more
