Even though we were sitting at the bar, it took a while to get service or eye contact. Finally after 10m I was asked what I wanted to drink. It's a beautiful spot, but the workers don't seem too engaging.
Phenomenal Beer and good food. Highly recommended place.

Why did you ever get rid of the old grilled cheese
Beers are awesome! Gorgeous place! However, they don't fill growlers. Handed the bartender a flip-top lid growler from my local brewery, Fatheads (Ohio), and was told some pathetic excuse about "leaking" and quality issues. I would have believed him if he said "due to legal issues". They will sell you some of their offerings pre-bottled which make nice gifts.
Didn't get to try the food since I was blown away by the drinks. The servers were knowledgeable about the beers and recommended some amazing beers to me. Well worth the trip and I will definitely be heading back.
When in DC it's a must. Great craft beer and great food.
Great beer, staff is extremely knowledgeable about their craft, clean, updated brewpub. The best!!!!!
Mexican Radio was my favorite beer at WARL Barktoberfest! I wish this beer was in Ohio!
